INTER-FAITH CRICKET TOURNAMENT THIS SATURDAY

Leyton, London – Leyton Orient Community Sports Programme (LOCSP) in conjunction with the Waltham Forest Metropolitan Police, are running an Inter-Faith Cricket Tournament this Saturday at Drapers Field, Temple Mills Lane (off Leyton High Road).

The event is open to any teams or individuals from across east London of all religious or non-religious backgrounds and will take the format of the successful LOCSP ‘Hit 4 Six’ cricket format.

Entry for individuals and teams of six people is free, with the competition running at U12s, U15s and 16+ age levels.

The competition runs from 12:30pm to 5:00pm with prizes for all the winners and runners-up.

Paul Motion, LOCSP Waltham Forest Development Officer who is running the competition said:

“Having worked on a lot of partnership work with the local police we decided to run this event which aims to work with people from a wide cultural background across east London - we are looking forward to everyone coming down and competing for the prizes.”
